I discovered a new gorgeous clothing brand that I intend to spend all my money on (when I have some). But an unfortunate image does pop up in my head whenever I hear the name.
Sigh, a step back this week.
Week 38: Lindsay Tuggey
Not so much of a funny one this week, more focusing on the drawing skill. In the lead-up to doing an Adobe Illustrator course I thought I should draw a little more seriously (or at least focus more on what my pencil is doing rather than the overall jokey outcome) and since I’ve been replaying Portal 2 I thought that was good enough reason to draw Wheatley. I’ve got two versions – one where I coloured his entire shell, one where I didn’t. My marker skills are terrible. I’m still not sure which one I like best.
Week 37: Simon Cooper (played by Joe Thomas)
Not quite right, again, but still improving, especially if you look at earlier drawings. Also, special moment, finished that particular art journal, so no more special recycled paper. Will need to either buy a new A4 journal or make do with my little A5 one. Decisions, decisions.
Week 36: William McKenzie (played by Simon Bird)
It’s hard to get that mild constipated look he has… Also this cartoon almost looks like someone I went to school with.
In response to the latest instalment of Gavin and Michael playing Surgeon Simulator. I couldn’t believe how well-attached those eyeballs were and how flexible the stalks were (it made me think of a slug…)
